MX vs. ATV Supercross Encore is once again re-releasing on the next generation of consoles. The only difference is that players can download official track layouts days before their real life counterparts. That’s right, you’ll be able to race on the same tracks on the very same week as the pros do. For example: gamers will be able to download Anaheim Round 1 on a Tuesday and then watch the athletes race on that course Saturday night. This is a first for the MX vs. ATV series.
Physical copies of the title will be available on January 4th for $39.99/€39.99 and it will include the full MX vs. ATV Supercross Encore experience and access to the to sixteen different races from the 2017 Supercross season (Dayton excluded). If you already own a copy, you’ll be able to buy a DLC pack for $19.99/€19.99 that gives you access to the new tracks as they become available.
MX vs. ATV Supercross originally released in 2017 to mostly negative reviews and re-released as MX vs. ATV Supercross Encore in 2015 also to mostly negative reviews. Here’s hoping that THQ Nordic has improved their title as well in tandem with the extra content. You can view the 2017 Official Track Edition trailer above.
