New Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Campaign Trailer Released

Activision and Infinity Ward dropped a brand new trailer for the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reboot today on Sony’s State of Play livestream, and boy, is it a goodie.

If you’re not a fan of the multiplayer side of Call of Duty and prefer to spend your time in the single-player campaign, this trailer is for you. The new trailer is all about the game’s single-player mode, and although it doesn’t show much gameplay, it shows that Infinity Ward has taken Call of Duty storytelling to the next level with its cinematic presentation. It also reveals that the game’s story won’t be following the original Modern Warfare at all, but will instead be a new story for players to enjoy.

Personally, I’ve been out of the loop on Call of Duty since Black Ops 3. I think Modern Warfare may be the one to bring me back into the fold, if only for the single-player and Spec-Ops missions.
