New Hatsune Miku Game Gives You over 200 Songs

Brace yourselves, lovers of vocaloid-based J-pop and rhythm games. In case you missed it, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone is available on the PSN now in two different flavors in 1080p and 60fps. If you are only looking for songs more like those in the Project Diva games, you can choose the Future Sound pack. If you are looking for songs from the arcade and Project Mirai, you will want to choose the Colorful Tone pack. Each pack is $29.99, and you can purchase both for $53.99.

The game is played by correctly hitting the buttons displayed on screen and has five different difficulty modes. A practice mode will also help you to master the controls. As you play through the game, you will unlock more songs and more custom outfits for your favorite synthetic singer. There are over 300 costume modules with some from classic Sega games, such as Sonic, Space Channel 5, Valkyria Chronicles, and Virtua Fighter. With so many options, you are bound to find an outfit you love.

After downloading the game for free on PSN, you will choose which pack (or both) you want to purchase from the game’s menu. Buying both packs will net you 224 songs and extra content. You will unlock more hair styles, and the survival courses mode will be unlocked to give you a greater challenge.
