On May 14th, Sony will showcase its highly anticipated exclusive Ghost of Tsushima in a State of Play. Announced on the PlayStation Blog, we can expect “an extended look at new gameplay footage, including exploration, combat, and more.” It’s predicted to be around 18 minutes of content, so this should be a very extended look. You can watch it on the PlayStation YouTube or Twitch channels.
They also answered the question everyone has before they ask – there will be no PS5 discussion or news. My guess is that’s coming next month, so Sony can then take six months to march to release. That’s entirely speculation, and don’t believe anything until you see it.
Fortunately, we’ll be seeing a lot of Ghost of Tsushima soon. The open-world, samurai action game captured a lot of hearts when it was announced back in 2017. As a survivor of the Mongol invasion, you’ll need to use your skills as a samurai and gain new skills to fight back and protect the island of Tsushima.
The game looks gorgeous, and I’m hoping the final product is just as amazing. On top of that, who doesn’t want to be a samurai?

Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
