Nioh 2 Update 1.24 Brings Cross-Gen Save Management and More Ahead of Nioh 2: The Complete Edition Release

Nioh 2 has received a sizeable update on PS5 and PS4 today in preparation for Nioh 2: The Complete Edition, which will release on February 5th, 2021. In anticipation of the re-release, Team Ninja has pushed through a new update, version 1.24.

What does update 1.24 do for Nioh 2? Well for one, it brings cross-save management so that you can transfer your save data across PS4 and PS5. So if you’ve recently upgraded to a PS5, you can download you PS4 save on to your PS5, and vice versa.

Furthermore, if you’re on PS5, you’ll get the Nioh 2 PS5 remaster as a completely free upgrade, which is nice, and that’s irrespective of which version of Nioh 2 you own; even if you have the regular edition and not The Complete Edition, you’ll get the remaster for nothing.

The patch notes are lengthy and Team Ninja has posted them on Twitter, so give them a look to find out what’s changing in your game.
