A few days ago it was announced that SUPERHOT VR would be getting a release on PSVR this summer, but what we didn’t know was that the studio behind the time-bending shooter also has plans to release the non-VR version of the game, too.
Writing over on the PlayStation Blog, SUPERHOT producer Tom Kaczmarczyk confirmed that both the VR edition and the non-VR version will both be releasing on PS4 as a digital download later this summer. What’s also interesting is that it looks like you’ll be able to buy both versions of the game in one package, or just buy the one that you want. So if you’re not interested in the PSVR edition, you can just buy the regular game and vice-versa.
There’s still no solid release date as of yet, and the blog post still only mentions a vague summer release, but we’ll keep you updated. Be sure to check in with Pure PlayStation for our review of SUPERHOT and SUPERHOT VR. We’re sure they’re going to be a doozy.
Looking forward to playing out your own Matrix-esque fantasy in SUPERHOT? Will you be picking it up for the PSVR, or are you going to opt for the non-VR package? SUPERCOMMENT down below.
