Sony has announced November’s PS Plus games, and it’s a decent month – if you’re a soon-to-be PS5 owner.
In a strange move, PS5 players will get Bugsnax for free as part of their PS Plus subscription, as well as Middle-earth: Shadow of War and Hollowknight: Voidheart Edition. PS4 players will only get the two latter games, even though Bugsnax is coming to PS4 on the same day as the PS5 version. However, Bugsnax for PS5 will only be free to PS Plus owners for a limited amount of time. It’ll be available from November 12th/19th, depending on where you live, and it will be available until January 4th, 2021. After that date, you’ll have to buy the game, even if you have a PS Plus subscription.
The PS4 games will be available to download from November 3rd, 2020. So, next week.
Sony has also updated its list of games that will be available on PS5 as part of the PlayStation Plus Collection:
First-party games
- Bloodborne
- Days Gone
- Detroit: Become Human
- God of War
- Infamous Second Son
- Ratchet and Clank
- The Last Guardian
- The Last of Us Remastered
- Until Dawn
- Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
Third-party games
- Batman: Arkham Knight
- Battlefield 1
- Call of Duty: Black Ops III – Zombies Chronicles Edition
- Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
- Fallout 4
- Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition
- Monster Hunter: World
- Mortal Kombat X
- Persona 5
- Resident Evil 7 biohazard
So, to recap, PS5 players get more than PS4 players. PS4 players are now scum in the eyes of Sony for not being awake in the middle of the night to pre-order a console. Cheers, Sony!
