Bloober Team has announced today that it will be bringing its award-winning cyberpunk thriller, Observer, to PS5 and Xbox Series X, though it’ll be under the name Observer: System Redux.
The game is a remaster of the original Observer that released on PS4 and Xbox One, but this time around things will be a little different. For one, the game will run at 4K and 60fps on PS5 and Xbox Series X, and there will also be some extra content that hasn’t been seen before in any previous version of the game. It’ll feature a brand new story on top of the game’s original twisted tale, and you can get a first look at it in the announcement trailer up above.
Observer: System Redux is set to release on PS5 and Xbox Series X this holiday season to coincide with the release of the next-gen consoles, though whether it’ll be a launch game isn’t yet confirmed.
Fun trivia: This news was originally embargoed until tomorrow, but some naughty website somewhere else broke the embargo. The Rona is sending people all kinds of crazy…
