Bloober Team has announced today that Observer: System Redux will be available on launch day for PS5 and for Xbox Series X for $29.99/€29.99. It’ll release on November 10th to coincide with the release of Xbox Series X|S, and then on November 12th for PlayStation 5.
“Making Observer: System Redux available for next-gen console players has been a huge focus for the team,” said Piotr Babineo, Bloober Team CEO. “Now that both the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 release dates are out there, we can finally share our release date news. We know next-gen pricing is a major concern for our fans and we feel that releasing all the new content and upgrades in Observer: System Redux at the same cost as the original Observer is a great way to stay close with our community.”
Observer: System Redux brings additional content to the original release, with three new major missions: Errant Signal, Her Fearful Symmetry, and It Runs in the Family, updated characters models, and new locations. This new content is supported by the latest in next-gen features such as 4K resolution, upgraded textures, new animations, models, and effects, all transformed with ray-tracing and HDR lighting. Observer: System Redux will be released in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean at launch.
Obserevr: System Redux will be joining a few other games as PS5 launch titles that were shown off during the PS5 Showcase event that had more than a couple of big surprises. The big one that had many gasping for air as the show hit its final notes was the tease for God of War: Ragnarok. Sony also announced that Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales would be available on PS4 as well as PS5, a sharp turnaround from the previously held line of “next-gen only.” Of course, we also got the good news that PS5 players who have an active PS Plus subscription would be treated to some free games available on day one. This has been dubbed The PS Plus Collection, and it carries with it a selection of the best PS4 games, including The Last of Us Remastered, God of War, and Battlefield 1. We also got a new Resident Evil Village (Resident Evil 8) trailer that’ll scare your socks off and confirmation that Fortnite will be a launch game on PS5.
