If you’re in the market for a new PS4 controller but want something a little more premium than the bog standard DualShock 4, the new Nacon Pro controller may be for you. Maybe. Maybe not. Depends on if you like offset analogue sticks, really, and if you can afford to pony up the pennies for this expensive bit of kit.
I’ve previously done a little write-up on the Nacon Revolution Unlimited Pro Controller, so if you want all the pertinent details, I suggest reading that article through here. Today’s piece is just letting you all know that the controller is available at retail throughout Europe for the recommended retail price of £149.99. Yes, it’s expensive, but it’s actually a really good controller.
I’ve spent the last few days using the Nacon Pro game pad and I’ve enjoyed it. I remember the days when third-party controller were typically crap and were reserved for the dickhead amongst your group of friends. So yeah, I used them plenty.
We’ll have a review for the controller up this weekend, so if you’re on the fence about it then you can always wait to see what I make of it in the review. Or just go mental and buy one anyway and then read the review in the hope it justifies your purchase.
Chris has been writing about gaming news for far too long, and now he’s doing it even more. A true PlayStation know-it-all, Chris has owned just about every Sony console that ever existed. Trophies are like crack to this fella. (Bronze trophies, that is – he only has one Platinum.)
