A few days ago we reported that the developers behind the spooky Outlast game that released not so long ago, Red Barrels, was working on something new, possibly a follow-up to the well received horror game. The development studio released a rather weird YouTube teaser in which all the words were scrambled but when listened backwards, it all made sense. Well, sort of. It quoted some religious stuff but we could at least understand each word being said.
We theorised at the time that it could possibly be Outlast 2. We were right. Red Barrels has taken to twitter to “confess” that the game is real and that there will be a playable demo at this year’s PAX East that takes place between April 22nd and April 24th.

More scares, please.
