There’s a free open beta for Modus Games’ Override 2: Super Mech League on PS5, PS4, and PC, and it’s starting today. All you need to do to have a playtest of the upcoming brawler is to download the beta client from the PlayStation Store.

The beta features eight playable mechs from the full game’s 20-mech package, so you’re getting a decent selection to try out. I remember when FIFA demos used to just come with two teams…

The beta is running from today until November 22nd, so you’ve got plenty of time yet, unless you’re full of fun new things to play on the newly released PS5. I am envious of you all, but I’ll be joining your ranks soon after having placed a pre-order this morning. Soon…

To celebrate the start of the open beta, Modus Games has knocked up a new trailer, and you can check that out up above. If you’re interested to see how the game looks and plays on PS4 Pro, you can check out my early gameplay video down below.
