We don’t have a lot here, but, unlike the quick Photoshopped image I created, it gives me hope. Persona 6 appears to be in development. If it comes to Sony platforms, odds are good we won’t see it until well after the PS5 launches. That’s OK, as long as it’s awesome.
This nugget of info was dropped casually by Kazuhisa Wada, the person in charge of P Studio, in an interview with Japanese gaming magazine, Dengeki PlayStation. Along with more collaboration projects (like the Dancing All Night and Arena titles), they are working on more numbered entries. Yes, please.
Since it is years away from release, this will probably be the last time we get to talk about Persona for a while. Don’t worry. When we find more info, I’ll be sure to post it.
Now, I need to look for a place that can cryogenically freeze me for a few years.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
