Pierhead Arcade, a virtual reality game for the HTC Vive, will be ported to the PS4 for use with the PSVR, as confirmed by the developer today.
After getting a tip-off from a reader via e-mail, we posed the question to Mechabit – the studio behind the well-received game – and got a quick reply stating that the team are working on porting the game to the PSVR, though there’s no release date at this time. Lovely stuff. More PSVR games are always welcome.
If you’re not familiar with Pierhead Arcade (don’t worry, we weren’t!) then let us explain it to you:
You’ve been given free rein over an arcade at the end of a pier (like the ones in Llandudno, North Wales) and you’re free to play every game that’s inside. You can play the gun shooting gallery, try to win prizes on the claw machine, and much more. The game has been well-supported over on Steam with new games being added regularly.
This is definitely one to look out for, so stick with Pure PlayStation and we’ll keep you in the loop with everything in the world of PS4 and PSVR.
We sometimes link to online retail stores. If you buy something from our links, we may make a small commission which goes towards keeping the lights on and coffee in the pot.
