Back in January a website reported that Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 would only take up 2.2GB on the PS4. Many gamers were surprised as they stated that the beta alone took up 17GB on the console and they felt 2.2GB just didn’t add up. Well unfortunately the non-believers out there were right. We were looking through the PlayStation Store this morning and we found out that Garden Warfare 2 will actually take up 22.3GB not 2.2GB. You can check out a screenshot from the PS Store down below.
Garden Warfare 2 will be launching on PS4 on the 25th of February, 2016. Hopefully the file size being bigger than initially thought doesn’t put too many people off, but it shouldn’t really considering it’s easy to delete and re-download games on the PS4 and it’s also easy to just install a bigger hard drive.
Obviously this file size may not be the finale one either. As we’ve found out in the past there’s often a few gigabytes extra in additional download files and day one patches.

Conor is Pure PlayStation’s resident Irishman. Naturally that means he’s constantly slurring his words and turning up stinking of Guiness with a potato in his pocket. It’s not all bad though, because Conor is also a PlayStation nut. When he’s not doing his best Father Jack impression (Father Ted, watch it) he’s got a DualShock 4 in his hand and a Vita in the other. Yeah, we don’t know how he manages it either.
