A new trailer today showed off a little over three minutes of gameplay from the upcoming MXGP 2020. It shows off the Matterly Basin track with Tony Cairoli riding a KTM bike. It’s a tough race over the British mud, and I’m pretty sure I would lose my lunch over some of those jumps. Thank goodness games allow us to do it without worry.
The trailer is just a small taste of what the full game will offer. There will be 68 different riders from MXGP and MX2 competing on 19 different tracks. You can join a team or seek fortune and glory on a created team. If you just want to hang out with friends, you can try the Playground. Up to four people can free-ride and race on a track inspired by Norwegian fjords.
When you master the included circuits, the Track Editor will let you make your own. The new Heightmaps feature will allow you to recreate your favorite tracks or pull something amazing from your wildest racing imagination.
MXGP 2020 is coming to the PS4 and PS5 on December 10th.

Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
