Today marks the day that PlayStation 4 users will be able to download and install the latest PS4 update, version 3.50. The update isn’t out yet and Sony never provides a time when we can expect it but we imagine it’ll be here before noon.
In the meantime you can get the latest update for the PlayStation companion app, aptly named the PlayStation App. The new update is out on iOS and Android devices (supported models) and brings the app up to version 3.50.9. The patch notes are below:
What’s New in Version 3.50.9
– You can now create events.
– dailymotion has been added to [Live from PlayStation].
– Other players’ shared activities now appear in your activities.
– Players who have been tagged now appear in your activities.
Seems pretty straight forward and unremarkable. However, we have an inkling that PS4 owners will soon be able to remote play via their iOS and Android devices, as per our recent story on the matter.
We sometimes link to online retail stores. If you buy something from our links, we may make a small commission which goes towards keeping the lights on and coffee in the pot.
