Bethesda has announced today that the demo for Prey is being replaced with a free timed-trial across consoles and PC. This means that any trophies you earn during the free trial will carry over to the full game if the trial has done its job in getting you to buy the game. Also, you’ll get to keep any progress you make in the trial, so there’s no starting over again. Oh, how spoiled we gamers are…
To celebrate the release of the new free trial, Bethesda has released another trailer for the game. You know, just in case you missed the first 30 trailer… In all seriousness, this is a decent move by Bethesda and it’s something that’s becoming a little more common as this gaming generation moves forward. Heck, just about every big Ubisoft game has had a free trial/free weekend at some point.

Chris has been writing about gaming news for far too long, and now he’s doing it even more. A true PlayStation know-it-all, Chris has owned just about every Sony console that ever existed. Trophies are like crack to this fella. (Bronze trophies, that is – he only has one Platinum.)
