During Ubisoft’s latest Ubisoft Forward broadcast, the publisher announced that we’re getting Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake on January 21st for current-gen consoles and PC. We even got a trailer and a selection of screenshots, but that’s not all. There’s more, apparently.

According to the presser sent over by Ubisoft, this remake will also come with the original 1989 version that can be accessed from the main menu whenever you fancy playing it. You know, when you’re sick of HD, voice acting, and motion capture…
But that’s not all, the sentence ends with “and more surprises await!”
Whatever could that mean? It wouldn’t be a surprise if we could answer it, would it? Perhaps other older games have been snuck in? Maybe a multiplayer mode? Whatever it is, it won’t be long until we find out, either by leaks or by way of an official announcement. Fans will lap it all though, and that’s the main thing, right?
