Monstrum is looking to keep the survival horror scares coming when it sneaks onto the PS4. You are trying to escape from an abandoned cargo ship with one of three terrifying monsters. They are the brute, the fiend, and the hunter, and they each have their own AI behaviors. You are not a gruff guy with chin full of stubble and a bag full of guns. You can run, hide, or distract the monster, so you can run and hide some more. That’s enough to qualify for a full plate, but the ship is full of traps to avoid as well.
The game is procedurally generated, so each level is different. Without the opportunity to memorize a way out, it should increase the tension and keep you on your toes.
We don’t have a release date for Monstrum yet, but we know it will be soon. Be sure to catch up on your sleep now.

Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
