Talk about pointless releases amongst gamers and sooner or later the Activision-published Prototype double-pack will enter the conversation.
Activision re-released Prototype 1 and 2 on PS4 earlier this year to middling reviews. It seemed a strange choice, but what’s stranger is that Activision is going one step further: the sub-par ports will be getting a retail release this November 4th.
Why? We’ve no idea. Nobody asked for the digital releases in the first place, and we’re pretty sure nobody was begging to own these games on disc, too.
We suppose that for the hardcore fans it’ll be a nice thing, but for everyone else… Not so much.
