Following last week’s PS Plus leak, Sony has made the official announcement.
The latest games to hit Playstation Plus have been officially announced by Sony following a leak from the platform holder’s own website, which, unsurprisingly, has been proven to be entirely accurate.
August’s lineup of PS Plus games includes Hunters Arena: Legends, which is playable on both PS4 and PS5, while Tennis World Tour 2 and Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighbourville are both available to play on PS4.
Hunters Arena: Legends was revealed to be heading to Playstation Plus during Sony’s most recent State of Play event. The game is a “combat-based” 30 PVP vs 30 PVE battle royale developed by Mantisco, set in a mystical world where players must battle each other as well as deadly demons to come out on top and prove that they are the deadliest hunter.
Tennis World Tour 2 gives you the chance to take on the role of the best players in the world as well as offering various game modes such as Career mode, which gives you the chance to create your own pro and dominate the world rankings. Or at least try to…
You can also play with friends locally and online in singles and doubles games, and ranked mode is also available to help players brush up on their skills.
Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neigbourville offers 20 fully customisable character classes to choose from while venturing to the outer edges of Neigbourville in the form of social free-roam regions to explore. Online and couch co-op is available with a variety of challenges to take on in the Funderdome, including the new Battle Arena Mode.
July’s lineup of Playstation Plus games will be removed to make way for the August line up but there’s still time to add them to your library. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Virtual Fighter 5, A Plague Tale: Innocence, and WWE 2K Battlegrounds are all available on PlayStation Plus until Monday, August 2nd.
