[Update: The official PlayStation Blog has confirmed that Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Goat Simulator are indeed PS Plus’ January freebies.]
The Austrian official PlayStation YouTube channels has seemingly spilt the beans on what’s to come in this year’s first PS Plus. The official account posted a short video announcing that Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Goat Simulator would be given away as part of January 2020’s PlayStation Plus lineup.
The video was most likely legitimate, but it was definitely published a touch early as the video has now been set to private on the official channel. It looks like somebody hit ‘publish’ a little bit early in this instance as there’s no sign of the announcement on any other official channels.
It’s a decent month, though, especially if you somehow managed to miss out on Nathan Drake’s first three adventures from the PS3 era. The Natha Drake Collection bundles all three original games into one package, along with improvements to graphics and gameplay, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection can also run at 60fps on PS4. It’s a great collection of games and you can read why in our Nathan Drake Collection PS4 review.
Goat Simulator is a dumb game about being a goat. Need I say more? It’s been out for a long time and the novelty is starting to wear thin, but it’s a nice freebie all the same if you’ve never played the game.
