Sony has announced which games will be free for PS Plus subscribers this November, and it’s looking to be another decent month for subscribers of the service. We’re still only getting two games, but at least the quality is there.
First up is Nioh, an action RPG that received great reviews upon its original release on PS4. It’s no coincidence, then, that Nioh 2 has just had its release date announced, along with the announcement of an upcoming beta.
The second game coming to PS Plus is Outlast 2, a first-person survival horror game that will have you bricking your pants at every turn. When we reviewed the game back in 2017, we were very impressed with the game, with our reviewer Josh summarising:
Outlast 2 is a lesson in the first-person horror genre and Red Barrels has shown us that they can make lightning strike twice. Slightly marred by some dodgy textures and a couple of tiny bugs that will most likely be ironed out in the day one patch, this game is the horror experience of the year for me. Intense, gripping, disgusting and terrifying all the way to the end.
The new games will be available to download from November 5th. Up until then, you’ve still got The Last of Us Remastered and MLB The Show 19 to download, so get them in your library if you haven’t already.
