If you regularly use the PS4’s media player app then you’ll probably get a prompt today that tells you there’s an update for the app. It’s a small update and it’ll take next to no time to download and install.
The app is now updated to Version 2.00. So what does the new update do? Let’s look at the patch notes:
Accessibility features have been added.
It now supports more formats. (MPEG2-PS, MPEG4)
And that’s it. There’s a couple more formats to play videos and what not in, and some accessibility feautres. Not too many, though, so don’t worry about the cat/dog taking over your PS4 when you’re at work.
