Earlier this evening (or afternoon, depending where you live) Sony announced the mid-generation upgrade for the PS4 – PS4 Pro. The new console aims to provide an even better gaming experience, while at the same time sitting alongside the regular PS4, which incidentally is being replaced as the standard model by the PS4 Slim.
After a ton of gameplay footage being fired into our faces and Mark Cerny trying to sell us Sony 4K TVs, the platform holder finally announced the release date and price of the PS4 Pro.
The PS4 Pro will release on November 10th and will cost $399 . Wowza.

Chris has been writing about gaming news for far too long, and now he’s doing it even more. A true PlayStation know-it-all, Chris has owned just about every Sony console that ever existed. Trophies are like crack to this fella. (Bronze trophies, that is – he only has one Platinum.)
