Days Gone, the upcoming open-world zombie game from Sony Bend Studios, has gone gold. This means that the master disc has been pressed and the game will now be copied over and over to create the retail discs that will be on store shelves next month.
The developer made the announcement over on Twitter along with a picture of the studio’s relatively small development team.
Our team has done it! #DaysGone has gone gold.
It’s been quite the ride and we can’t wait for you experience our game on April 26. pic.twitter.com/xnD5VTnbew

Previews have been coming out over the last few days and they’ve been generally positive, but nowhere near the hype levels of other first-party exclusives. We’ll wait and see if Days Gone is any good when it releases on April 26th, 2019.
If you’re confident this is the game for you, you can pre-order your copy via Amazon.
Chris has been writing about gaming news for far too long, and now he’s doing it even more. A true PlayStation know-it-all, Chris has owned just about every Sony console that ever existed. Trophies are like crack to this fella. (Bronze trophies, that is – he only has one Platinum.)
