This week’s PSN Deals article is a little on the weak side, unfortunately. This week’s offerings are not many, though we did have almost 400 discounts dropped on us last week, so we shouldn’t really complain, should we? Besides, quality over quantity.
This week’s big-hitter is Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which is this week’s Deal of the Week on PS4. What’s more is that it’s not just the regular edition – you get the Deluxe Edition which includes a few fancy in-game bonuses. It’s also worth pointing out that the Season Pass for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is a meaty add-on, too, and includes Assassin’s Creed III Remastered and Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD, both of which are decent games in themselves. Don’t hate on AC3. Connor is a legend.
If a massive open-world adventure isn’t your bag, maybe Stranger Things 3: The Game is. At least it won’t take you upwards of 50 hours to see the bloody end… Surprisingly, Stranger Things 3: The Game, which has only been out a couple of weeks, is already reduced by 40%.
If you’re dead on the inside and can’t appreciate Stranger Things as a TV show or videogame, perhaps some racing will warm your insides? The futuristic Ridge Racer-inspired Xenon Racer: Deluxe Edition has had a slight price cut, bringing it to down to a more reasonable £39.99.
Elsewhere this week we’ve got a few price cuts on The Sims 4 and its various downloadable content. However, I’d advise against outright buying The Sims 4 if you’re planning on subscribing to EA Access once it releases on PS4 next week as it’ll surely be included as a part of the subscription. The DLC won’t, but the base game will be.
Chris has been writing about gaming news for far too long, and now he’s doing it even more. A true PlayStation know-it-all, Chris has owned just about every Sony console that ever existed. Trophies are like crack to this fella. (Bronze trophies, that is – he only has one Platinum.)
