This week we have a trio of sales for North America, and two are them are fairly unique. Starting us off on our journey of savings, we have the first week of the Play Anime sale from Bandai Namco. They are offering Dragon Ball Xenoverse for $9.99 and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for $41.99. They are also offering a sale on the season passes. The Sword Art Online games and One Piece Games are also on sale, as well as PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX.
We appreciate sales, but the next is one that really does seem to happen every other week. We have a Rockstar Games sale. As usual, GTA V is on sale for $29.99, and there are more expensive bundles. Other GTA games are on sale along with Bully, Max Payne, and The Warriors.
This last sale is the most interesting. There are PS Plus specials, and they are mostly VR games. The sale includes Carnival Games, How We Soar, Battlezone, Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live, and more. If you are looking to stock up on these titles for less, you should take a look. For non-VR, they are selling a few games such as the excellent Rise of the Tomb Raider for $29.99.
This week’s sales offer plenty of variety for everyone, and we are very excited to see VR be a bigger part of this week. We also wish Sony would really support VR by offering two free games with PS Plus every month. We love to dream.
For the full list of games on sale this week, you can view the PS Store here. Let us know in the comments if we overlooked a game that we should be playing this week.
We sometimes link to online retail stores. If you buy something from our links, we may make a small commission which goes towards keeping the lights on and coffee in the pot.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
