If you reside in North America, you may be able to get some cash for your trophies. The North American-only Sony Rewards program now gives players the chance to earn PSN cash for collecting trophies. Finally, a reason to collect everything in Assassin’s Creed!
However, there is a catch. Isn’t there always? According to the terms and conditions on the Sony Rewards website, you can only cash out 12 time per year. So if you earn 100 silver trophies you get 100 points. 25 golden gongs will get you 250 points, while 10 platinum achievements will get your 1000 points. 100 points, 250 points, and 1000 points are worth $1, $2.50, and $10. That means that the maximum payout you can get each year is $110. Not bad, then, considering that’s $110 more than ever before.
For North American players this could be a nice and easy way to earn a few bucks and it may eventually pay for a decent game, but for the rest of us that don’t reside under the rule of Trump, it’s nothing but an American Dream.
