You’ve no doubt been piling the food onto your plates this holiday season, and so you’ll naturally take out a gym membership in the new year, only to go once and then never go back again. You can save yourself the gym membership fee and get a workout at home with the brilliant Creed: Rise to Glory, and you’ll start your calorie-burning redemption by getting off your bum to pick up a copy at a retail store near you.
Survios and Perp Games have announced that Creed: Rise to Glory will be sitting on store shelves in Europe from January 17th, 2020. It’s already available at retail in North America and on the PlayStation Stores in the UK and Europe, but if you favour physical media over this new-age digital tosh, then a physical release is perfect for you.
Creed: Rise to Glory is a boxing game, obviously, and it’s set within the Rocky/Creed universe. You’ll fight your way through the story mode, taking Michael B. Jordan’s Creed character from rags to riches. There’s also a variety of mini-games to play and, best of all, online multiplayer. I’ve only had one bout online with my colleague Jez, and I was ruined afterwards. Literally ruined. It was great fun and I’d recommend it to anybody with the slightest interest in boxing games. Seth Gerson, Survios CEO, said, “Creed: Rise to Glory is one of the most widely distributed VR games via online stores, North American retail locations, and Survios’ worldwide LBE distribution network. By partnering with Perp Games we are thrilled to introduce Creed: Rise to Glory to new audiences throughout the world to experience truly immersive entertainment.”
Rob Edwards, Managing Director of Perp Games, is thrilled to work on an incredible game from a globally recognised franchise. “We’re delighted to continue our working relationship with Survios to bring this beloved PSVR game to retail and continue our commitment to working with high-quality games from globally recognised franchises.”
We sometimes link to online retail stores. If you buy something from our links, we may make a small commission which goes towards keeping the lights on and coffee in the pot.
Chris has been writing about gaming news for far too long, and now he’s doing it even more. A true PlayStation know-it-all, Chris has owned just about every Sony console that ever existed. Trophies are like crack to this fella. (Bronze trophies, that is – he only has one Platinum.)
