First Contact Entertainment’s celebrated tactical FPS Firewall Zero Hour may be over two years old, but it is about to get better, so long as you’re able to bag yourself a PS5. The developer had this to say over on Twitter:
Firewall Zero Hour played on PS5 offers reduced load times and improved visual fidelity resulting from an additional increase in supersampling pixel density from what is currently offered on the PS4 Pro.
While some of that may sound obvious considering the PS5 hardware, it’s still nice to hear. Firewall Zero Hour is a 4 vs 4 tactical FPS multiplayer that has maintained a strong player-base despite being exclusive to the PSVR. The fact that it doesn’t have much competition in that particular space helps, but the biggest reason is that it is really good. Check out my two-year-old review here.
As much as I loved this game when it launched, I haven’t played it much this year. But this news has me excited to get the Pure PlayStation Firewall team back together again. Are you still playing Firewall Zero Hour? If not, is this news enough to get you to log back in when you finally score your very own PS5? Let us know in the comments below.
