PSX 2016 is the gift that keeps on giving, isn’t it? Sony has just announced on the PlayStation Blog that PS4 players will be getting whiplash with WipeOut on PS4 in the form of a remaster trilogy.
The trilogy is going under the WipeOut Omega Collection name, and will feature WipeOut HD, Fury, and 2048. According to the blog post, the remaster trilogy will have a brand new soundtrack, 26 maps, 46 vehicles, and will be targeting 60 frames-per-second. That last part is sure to send some people in a flurry…
There’s no word on a release date just yet but we’ll be letting you know as soon as we know.
