Ah, the pleasures of a long, holiday weekend. One more free day has been added for your enjoyment, whether it’s filled with burgers on the grill, special sales, or sleeping in late on a Monday. It’s a sweet reward for anyone who doesn’t have to work retail. Sorry, ladies and gents in that line of work.
So, how will you fill the next three magical days that are bursting with possibility? You could grab something from the current sale on PSN, you could tackle your everlasting backlog, or you could just binge-watch some TV. Either way, take some time for yourself and rest, for E3 cometh soon, and you will need all your strength to watch trailers and read updates.
Here is how we will spend the next few days. Be sure to drop your plans in the comments.
This weekend will be the first to peel me away from Conan Exiles. Detroit: Become Human demands to be played by a Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls veteran like me.
I will be traditional this weekend. I will be working on a review and staying close to a grill. If I have extra time, I started Prey a while ago, and I would like to finish what feels like Bioshock in space at some point.
Honestly, I haven’t got a clue what I’ll be playing. Maybe a little Crash Bandicoot followed by some FIFA 18.
This weekend is rest, recovery, and a whatever takes my fancy. I’ve got a bit to do in the reviews department, but when I’m playing for my own enjoyment, you can guarantee I’ll be chipping away at PixelJunk Monsters 2.
The rest of the team has jumped into vacation early, or this is the longest game of hide and seek we have ever played. We will find them when they get hungry, or they will be back next week.
We sometimes link to online retail stores. If you buy something from our links, we may make a small commission which goes towards keeping the lights on and coffee in the pot.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
