This weekend takes us through to the end of July and it has been a great month for us here at Pure PlayStation. We’ve been pushing ourselves to give you as many reviews and news updates as we possibly can. We will continue to keep on improving ourselves and will strive to give you all of the most important and relevant PlayStation news. Mixed in of course, with a wide selection of reviews published as early we possibly can, plus even some of our own thoughts and opinions (hopefully that’s not a deterrent). With that aside let’s get into what we’re going to be playing this weekend.
This weekend I’m going to be playing copious amounts of competitive Overwatch, despite how frustrating it is with the sheer quantity of matches that get cancelled part way through due to someone leaving. Is it just me or is everyone finding this is a problem? Let me know in the comments. On top of this, I’m going to be playing the procedurally generated dungeon brawler ‘Brut@l’, it’s an addictive game with some equally impressive and unique crafting mechanics. If you’re interested: Brut@l releases on the 9th of August but you can expect a review from us on the 2nd to help you make up your mind.
I will be starting a character in Neverwinter this weekend. It is free to play, so there is no reason not to give it a try. No spoilers please, but I hope there are skeletons with swords. Thanks, Ray Harryhausen.
Neverwinter has adequately kept my mind away from completely obsessing over No Man’s Sky so that’s something. Probably no life that this weekend. Also, might throw a little Overwatch in there too if I don’t rage at people being utterly incompetent.
My weekend gaming will see me going back to Guitar Hero Live while I await delivery of Rock Band 4. I just feel like making a lot of noise after a stressful week… And of course I’ll also be playing too much Videally again. It’s just so darn good!
Jake has been boring his friends with PlayStation news and trivia for years now so it’s about time he puts his thoughts and knowledge into words for you lot to appreciate…. hopefully.
