2021 is well underway now with an eventful January nearing the end. With so much going on in the real-world gaming truly offers the chance for us to escape into our own little utopias, and with so much on offer at the moment and promised for the future the world of gaming is a world of sanctuary and closure.
So with another weekend dawning, we find ourselves with another opportunity to share what we will be sinking our teeth into next; as we turn our ever typing hands to our chosen peripheral, don’t forget to let us know what your flavour of the month is, I for one always welcome inspiration and have an inkling my colleagues share this sentiment.
When I’m not on a huge cleaning and organizing rampage, I want to play with my Raspberry Pi. For gaming, I may be able to finish 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. It’s not often I can nail a platinum, but this one seems within reach. I also want to play the Maiden demo for a look at Resident Evil Village’s new tech.
I’m sorry everyone, I lied. I’ve gone back on my word; I said several months back on a prior plays I would never attempt to start doing the Velo time trials on CTR Nitro-Fueled. But, yet here I am already spent several hours this week attempting the time trials. Admittedly, I’ve only done three so far, so I’ve got a long road ahead of me before I’ve got anything to brag about…
Since it released a few days ago I’ve been itching to get into Hitman 3, but between server problems (theirs not mine) and work problems (mine not theirs) I haven’t managed to even start the first mission. My weekend is my oyster, so between that and a game for review the next two days are fully booked.
After having to order a new DualShock 4 due to an unexpected death with the last, I will be putting it through its paces (and possibly giving it its first scratch courtesy of the dogs and their meddling paws). I’ve become quite addicted to F1 2020 on the pad – partly because I’m a little too lazy at the moment to set up the wheel – and in a way, I actually prefer WRC8 handheld. So, it appears I will be burning rubber and spraying mud for the next couple of days. Happy days!
Another weekend, another couple of days sat at my desk. I’ve got Redout: Space Assault on the go for review, as well as a game called Winfolk, so they’ll take up the bulk of my gaming time. The rest of the time? that’s going on video editing our Game of the Year final list, and it’s a big’un!
Even though the Resident Evil Showcase was disappointing to say the least, it did manage to get me excited for upcoming game; in the meantime, however, I will have to put up with jumping back into Resident Evil 2, not a bad alternative at all.
I have to give credence to my brother’s ability to hook me into COD and GTA during the evening so I am more than aware that my zombie-killing exploits will be short-lived. In between that, I have found this stupidly addictive mobile game called Egg Inc. so I will more than likely waste a few hours on there.
