It’s the weekend again – yay! You know what that means, don’t you? We all do bugger all except for sitting around in our underwear playing games. Sometimes, we don’ even bother with the underwear. Other times, we don’t even play the games… Here’s what we’re up to this weekend.
Resident Evil Village has shaken me to my core. What. A. Game. I’m going to spend the weekend putting my review together, as well as a few other bits, and play some other games for review. I’ve got Aerial_Knight’s Never Yield, Rust: Console Edition and King of Seas to play before the month is out, so I’m going to be really busy. Poor me, right?
Having received our review copy of Mass Effect Legendary Edition yesterday I am currently a few hours deep into Mass Effect and loving every minute. The mixture of nostalgia and updated visuals on top of what is already a solid game is currently ticking all the right boxes for me, and between bashing out a review (coming soon!) and just enjoying what is one of the best sci-fi RPGs ever released, I am in my element.
I will be making the most of the remaining lockdown by getting the racing wheel and seat out. I’ve been slumming it with the controller, albeit with better lap times, but I really like sitting down behind the wheel because it makes it so much more realistic. That is, until the dog jumps on my lap and sends us both careering towards the barrier. Or the cat lies on the pedals…
Those who read this are probably expecting me to plug my latest mobile game this weekend. However, I have yet again discovered the beautiful PS Vita whilst I hunt for a roof over my head. So this weekend I will be taking a trip to Oddworld as the Stetson donning Stranger in the aptly named Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath. Now, leave me as I shoot little fuzzy things out of a crossbow (Note: No real life animals will be harmed, so back off PETA)
I’m working on two reviews at the moment that I intend to finish up in the upcoming days. Therefore, I’ll be spending a lot of time at my desk staring at my keyboard and getting distracted by internet videos. However, if I get ahead of the curve – I’m tempted to try out the new open beta for Guilty Gear Strive. I didn’t sink as much time as I would have liked with the prior open beta, so I’m looking forward to squeezing some battles into my dairy.
