The end of the week is looming over us yet again and here at Pure PlayStation we live for the weekend where we finally get a chance to just sit down and smash out countless hours on our favourite games. Well we still play probably far too much in the week, the difference is that playing on the weekend doesn’t come with the guilt that we get from the week when we should probably be doing something productive with ourselves. So let’s get right to it, below you can check out what we’ll be playing this weekend and then let us know down in the comments what you’re going to be playing.
This weekend I will be going out and partaking in activities such as sailing, walking in the forest and enjoying the sun… The virtual sun of the Witcher 3 that is. After learning about the upcoming Blood & Wine expansion I’m desperate to get back on the Witcher and just appreciate how insanely well made it is. Geralt’s beard actually grows over time I mean c’mon how could anyone not appreciate that. On top of the adventuring and monster slaying that will be happening I also plan to spend many hours playing The Witcher’s card game ‘Gwent’, a game within a game and an addictive one at that.
This weekend I’ll be taking a break from my co-op adventures in Divinity: Original Sin and loading up Battlefield 4. I’m still mentally scarred from the onslaught that took place on Operation Locker last time I played, but it’s time to get over my shellshock and head back into the fray once more. Free maps are also a pretty good incentive to go back!
This weekend I’ll be dipping back into Naughty Dog’s exceptional Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End to give the multiplayer suite a proper going over for our next feature. I’m pretty sure I’ll die a lot, get angry a lot, and swear a goddamn lot, but it’s all in the name of fun, right?
We sometimes link to online retail stores. If you buy something from our links, we may make a small commission which goes towards keeping the lights on and coffee in the pot.
Jake has been boring his friends with PlayStation news and trivia for years now so it’s about time he puts his thoughts and knowledge into words for you lot to appreciate…. hopefully.
