Rainbow Six: Siege seems to be getting more airtime now than it did at release. And it just keeps on coming. That’s because the title is being included, free of charge, with any 12 month PS Plus Subscriptions purchased within the next couple of weeks. How’s that for an incentive?
Sony announced the offer today, over on the official PlayStation site. Along with the terms and conditions, which we recommend all potential purchasers consult, there is the mention of cost – $59.99 – offer expiry date (March 3rd), and of a possible 48hr delay in receiving the game. That’s to ensure the money goes through, we assume.
Then there’s the reminder that the subscription will automatically renew each year until you say otherwise. But that’s enough of the legal stuff. Here’s what it has to say about Tom Clancy’s shooter:
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six® Siege is a tactical first-person shooter with intense 5v5 team matches. Attack or defend with your choice of a variety of unique operators. Enter the siege with an active community of over 25 million players. Master the art of destruction and gadgetry with instant access to 20 highly specialized international operators. Face intense close-quarters combat, tactical team play, and explosive action in every moment. A live ongoing service adding new operators, seasonal customization items, new and upgraded maps, and more.
Coincidentally, PS Plus Membership is required to access online multiplayer. But you knew that already, didn’t you?
Is the deal enough to make you pull the trigger on a 12 month subscription? Or did you misfire by making the purchase just the other day? Is Rainbow Six: Siege even still relevant? Fire your comments at will.
