THQ Nordic is once again pilfering through its back catalogue of games to bring another questionable remaster in the form of The Raven Remastered. While we’re generally supportive of older games getting a re-release, we can’t help but question why The Raven Remastered is happening. Still, more games isn’t a bad thing, right? And to be fair, the game wasn’t totally panned when it originally released a few years ago.
The Raven Remastered will spruce up the original release with HD graphics as well as reworked lighting and animations to bring players the best possible version of this decent whodunit thriller.
You’ll be forgiven for not having a clue about the game, though, as it originally released in 2013 on Steam, and then 2014 on PS3. By that point the PS3 was old news as the PS4 was finding its stride with fancy new games, so it’s not surprising it flew under the radar.
THQ Nordic has announced that The Raven Remastered will hit PS4 on March 13th. There’s a new trailer up above as well as some comparison screenshots below that show the differences between the original release and the upcoming remaster.
