Rockstar has started drip-feeding information about its upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 in the run up to the game’s October release date.
One such tidbit relates to the in-game wildlife. According to Rockstar Games, there are around 200 different animals in the game’s world, ranging from birds, to fish, to cattle, and more, with each of them reacting to the game’s world in a unique way.
It’s not known exactly how many of these critters can be killed, skinned, and sold on for dollar, but my guess is that pretty much everything with a pulse can be shot. Or is that just my own sick hope? Who knows.

Chris has been writing about gaming news for far too long, and now he’s doing it even more. A true PlayStation know-it-all, Chris has owned just about every Sony console that ever existed. Trophies are like crack to this fella. (Bronze trophies, that is – he only has one Platinum.)
