Remedy Entertainment has confirmed that its upcoming action-thriller, Control, will be releasing this summer. Previously we only has a vague ‘2019’ release window, but now we know that there’s at least one big game coming during the summer months.
There’s no solid release date as of yet, unfortunately, but at least it’s something. And with the lack of any other confirmed summer blockbusters, it’s good to know that there’s at least one ready and waiting to stave off the usual summer drought.
Control is Remedy’s latest game after spending over a decade developing games for Microsoft’s consoles and PC. It’s a supernatural thriller where a secretive agency in New York is invaded by an out-of-this-world threat, and you play as the newly appointed Director who struggles to regain… Control. Geddit? You’ll have to master a variety of supernatural powers, modifiable loadouts, and reactive environments as you fight through the game’s world to find out what the hell is going on. It all sounds rather interesting, doesn’t it? If you think so, then be sure to keep an eye on Pure PlayStation for more news on Control.

Chris has been writing about gaming news for far too long, and now he’s doing it even more. A true PlayStation know-it-all, Chris has owned just about every Sony console that ever existed. Trophies are like crack to this fella. (Bronze trophies, that is – he only has one Platinum.)
