Sony has revealed today over on the official PlayStation Blog that Capcom’s Resident Evil 2 remake was the most downloaded game in January for Europe. What’s more impressive is that it managed to take the top spot in just six days.
It’s impressive, for sure, but also well-deserved. The game has garnered nothing but praise from critics and players alike, and our very own Max Taylor said “Resident Evil 2 is an excellent remake of a horror classic,” in his review of the game. Kudos to the folks at Capcom.
It’s also worth pointing out that Kingdom Hearts 3 has done well, too. Considering the game released on January 29th and only had two days of sales in January, it still managed to break into the top ten and rest at sixth place. We’ll have our review once Kyle has finished exploring every square centimetre of the game. It could be a while yet, then…
