The Sinking City delivered a launch trailer today, and it cranks up the weirdness in all the right ways. (You can check out our review here.) By showing snippets of the story, you can tell something really strange is happening…or not happening? Reality isn’t what it seems, and the trailer ends by telling you to reverse it. Based on what we see in the video, you have all the motivation you need, unless you want to be extra crispy.
In The Sinking City, you are investigator Charles W. Reed. A case takes you to 1920s Oakmont, Massachusetts, a city under a supernatural flood. Both you and the city hide some secrets, and you’ll need to follow the clues to uncover a tale of cosmic horror.

Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
