Not all game updates are big and juicy. That’s the category Rocket League’s latest one ends up in. We can’t expect new maps, cars, and modes every time after all. 1.28 brings a few fixes for some technical mechanics but not much else. Let’s just say that only gamers who live and breathe the soccer-car hybrid will take notice of the changes. You can view the patch notes below.
- Fixed a trade window issue causing painted item attributes to be incorrect.
- Fixed an issue causing increased boost and air turn speed before the first kickoff in some cases
- This issue was addressed in an earlier server-side update, and this client update will ensure its effectiveness
- Faulty “Dodge Forward” binding that caused the “No Flip” speed exploit has been removed
If it’s any consolation, we’re sure developer Psyonix is hard at work on new Rocket League content. They released the Starbase ARC addition back in December and recently announced new competitive season changes. At this point it’s just a matter of time before we hear about new DLC.
