Further rumours are circulating around the web, promising us that The Last of Us Part 2 will be launching in February 2020. Now, we know that these rumours can often prove to be wild flights of fantasy, but this time the poster has a credible track record to back up their claims.
The post in question was made over on Resetera by a user called ZhugeEx who was reiterating the news. They are themselves a credible source who figured out the time we’d be getting Death Stranding two weeks prior to a trailer dropping. Which is why it could pay off to sit up and take note of what they have to say.
Elsewhere, and in addition to further confirmations of the launch window, it has also been suggested that a total of four editions will be made available for purchase. These are a Standard Edition, Collector’s Edition, Special Edition, and intriguingly, an Ellie Edition.
Decisions, decisions, decisions…
As to what the Ellie Edition will include – apart from maps, posters, soundtracks and the like, is yet to be seen. Although, a figurine is not to be ruled out – it’d be better than a Barbie.
