Slicing up bugs with style.
Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have released a new update for Samurai Warriors 5 and it’s update version 1.02. But what does this update do? It’s taking up 200MB of hard drive space, after all, so it better be doing something good.
It is. It’s fixing a few annoying bugs related to the game’s music and to the game’s multiplayer mode. Nothing drastic, mind you, but it’s a good update all the same as it brings balance adjustments, too, according to the patch notes.
To be fair, when I reviewed the game last month, I didn’t come across any particularly nasty bugs during my 20+ hour playthrough, so it’s a solid product and we should expect the future updates to be just as light, excluding updates that include new content.

- Fixed a bug in which the mature stage Musou Frenzy Attack would become the youth stage action during local two player mode.
- Changed the conditions for unlocking the Defeat background music.
- Carried out other bug fixes and balance adjustments.
