Subverting our expectations, the PlayStation Store has a new sale. The Totally Digital Sale guarantees you a cool 40% off a wide variety of games. If you didn’t pick up Overcooked as part of PS Plus, it’s only $6.79, and, although I never learned to cook playing it, you will get a ton of enjoyment from this multiplayer game. If multiplayer is your thing, you can pick up The Jackbox Party Pack original for $12.49 or the fourth version for $14.99.
If singleplayer games are what you need, you can grab some smaller games. Moonlighter is a fun rogue-lite that gets it right for $7.99. The first season of Life is Strange can be bought for $3.99 to fill that dramatic narrative hole in your heart. Unravel Two can bring it’s yarn covered characters to your PS4 for only $6.99.
The last category I’m seeing here is DLC, even if the base game is not for sale. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and Fighterz (a name I cringe at every time) have both slashed prices on DLC. The many pieces of Just Cause 3 DLC have had their prices attached to a moving vehicle and blown up as well. Finally, Monster Energy Supercross, NBA 2K Playgrounds, and The Escapists DLC join some of the other extra pieces you can buy to extend or enhance your existing games.
I’ll post a list of all the games for sale, but only for the PS4. There are PS3 games and PS Vita games, but you’ll need to go to the PlayStation Blog to see those. Kudos to you if you still pull either out for regular gaming, and happy hunting in this latest sale.
