Save up to 70% in the September Savings Sale (NA)

With one sale ends, another begins, and so continues the sale circle of life in the PlayStation Store. It’s not quite what Mufasa was telling young Simba, but it’s close enough. Starting today, we have the September Savings Sale, and it delivers discounts of up to 70% off, so MSRP is a but a memory. With as many as three sales running concurrently in the last week, including the still running Big in Japan Sale, what does this one bring to the table?

As you might expect, it’s a little of everything in the several hundred listings. Some of Rockstar’s older games such as Bully (which may or may not ever receive a sequel), The Warriors, and Red Dead Revolver are shooting up the joint. Did you just pick up Batman: Arkham Knight on PS Plus? You can pick up the many pieces of DLC for deep discounts to keep your time in Gotham going. If you are looking for more tactical action, Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden (review), is on sale for $20.99. The recently released expansion is still $14.99, but buying them separately is cheaper than buying them together by about $10.

If you didn’t find what you wanted in the Big in Japan Sale, you might find it here, since NIS America has a few games included. Disgaea 1 Complete and Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk (I game I need to return to eventually) are some of the Japanese RPGs here. The Witch and the Hundred Knight 1 & 2 are separate or as part of a cheaper bundle as well.

Since it’s named after the month, it will conveniently end on October 1st. Not everything is amazing, but one man’s gaming treasure is another man’s gaming trash. You can find your newest treasure by viewing all the games on sale here.
