The PS5’s DualSense controller is promising to be an evolution over the DualShock 4, incorporating the best bits (nice big handles) and ditching the not so best bits (the light bar,) while throwing in some new tech.
One of the biggest new features of the DualSense controller is haptic feedback. With this feature, the triggers adapt to what you’re doing in a game. If you’re pulling the string back on a bow and arrow, you’ll feel the tension in the triggers. If you’re shooting a gun, you’ll feel the recoil through the triggers. Sony hasn’t shown this in action, yet, but some lucky sods who have been on the receiving end of early review units have been posting videos online for the rest of us to stare at for hours on end.
Erik Fossum of Norwegian outlet PressFire has posted a short clip to Twitter showing the haptic triggers in action, and they’re putting up quite the fight.

Chris has been writing about gaming news for far too long, and now he’s doing it even more. A true PlayStation know-it-all, Chris has owned just about every Sony console that ever existed. Trophies are like crack to this fella. (Bronze trophies, that is – he only has one Platinum.)
